Roberto Saint-Malo

Roberto has focused on direct equity investments since 1995. During this time he has sourced, structured and managed dozens of investments - returning capital 4 times over. Salient efforts include eDreams (Spain OTA), Eyesquad (Israel optical components), Officenet (office supplies in Brasil) and Energía Global (Lat Am renewable energy). During this time he has also raised two independent investment initiatives, most recently Adara Venture Partners (€55m in commitments), as founding & managing partner between 2002 and 2010 – and built a significant network of leading international co-investors such as Accel, Amadeus, TVM, Venrock, GIMV, DN Capital and Baytech.

Roberto worked with McKinsey & Co. between 1985 and 1988, where he did extensive work for Portugal’s GrupoEntreposto and was eventually recruited as CEO of Jumbo Comercial, their then 35-site retail operation in Spain. Between 1988 and 1991 Roberto and his team commercially repositioned the Jumbo operation, doubling sales in real terms to €250m p.a. In 1991, under his guidance, Entreposto acquired a further 50% ownership stake for $42m. When Jumbo and Pao de Açucar-Portugal merged to form SUPA, a €1,3b retail operation with over 100 stores, Roberto was appointed to the SUPA board as an Entreposto representative. When SUPA was later acquired by Auchan in 1995-96, the $42m investment made in 1991 reported over $160m in exit proceeds to Entreposto.

Roberto has been recognized as a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum and has been an active member of YPO since 1992. Roberto received an MBA degree from Havard University in 1986 and a BA in Computer Sciences from Dartmouth College - with Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors - in 1982. A father of three, favorite pastimes include trekking and golf. He is a citizen of Panama and Spain, and fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Stephan Lobmeyr

Stephan Lobmeyr is a Managing Director of Change Capital Partners. Prior to joining Change Capital, Stephan was a Director of Hicks, Muse, Tate &Furst where he joined in 1999 and was part of the team that built Hicks Muse’s European operations and invested their €1.5bn Europe Fund. In his function at Hicks Muse, Stephan led a number of IPO’s, financings, mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Hicks Muse, Stephan spent six years as a strategy consultant for The Boston Consulting Group, latterly as Manager in their Paris and Buenos Aires offices. Stephan received an M.B.A. from IESE, Barcelona and an undergraduate commerce degree from Wirtschaftsuniversität, Vienna.

Ángel Calvo

Angel has occupied executive positions in multinational pharmaceutical companies as Hoffmann La Roche and Pharmacia & Upjohn. Since 1998, he has been developing his career in the Generics field, having started up several large company affiliates in Spain and other European Countries, and being Managing Director of those affiliates (PLIVA, Dr. REDDY´s and ACTAVIS).

He has been speaker in several European generics forums as well as teacher in some business schools for pharmaceutical marketing.Also, he has conducted several company acquisitions and selling out processes. He has publishedthe GUIDE FOR GENERICS – SPAIN.

Angel has a University Degree on Chemistry, a Master in Business Administration as well as a Master in Biotechnology and Genetics Engineering.
